ESOL English Lecturer and IT Tutor Chris Dent left has pursued his passion and is now at the cutting edge of a new art rennaisance. Chris' artwork has been displayed in over 40 countries and featured on national TV and in the national press.
Many of his digital-oil portrait paintings adorn the walls of UK celebrities. Chris recently donated a portrait painting of a Bradford City striker to charity which raised over £1300. (see the video below)
Chris combines traditonal painting techniques with cutting edge technology (see video below) to create his portraits. Chris' satisfied clients however are more concerned with the end result than the journey taken to reach it and many say his work transcends anything they have seen before.
Unlike old fashioned portrait paintings, Chris' portraits are sealed down and protected with a discreet clear lamination on top of the canvas. This protects the painting against damage and UV fading for 200 years, giving you the freedom to hang your artwork anywhere in your home. Reproductions can also be made swiftly in any size required.

I’m interested. How can I commission a portrait painting?
Celebrity portrait artist Christopher Dent is willing to travel to meet his clients and take reference pictures from which to paint. Contact him below to agree travel arrangements. He can also take commissions from anywhere in the world easily. How?
If you have a clear sharp digital picture of the subject you would like a portrait of, then you can email the original picture file to him for approval along with ideas you have for the finished painting.
Payment
Christopher requires a 50% deposit to begin a commission. When the painting is nearly complete he will email you a proof picture, if satisfied a further 20% is required at this point. After any final alterations and your complete approval the balance of 30% is required before the painting is posted.
